St. Vincent de Paul Elementary school has proudly educated students for over 130 years in the Petaluma community and beyond. Having served students grades K-8 for several years, we will embark upon a new journey next year serving grades TK-8.
ProfileEstablished in 1888, as a Roman Catholic elementary school and a ministry of St. Vincent de Paul Church, our mission is to educate and form the whole child, made in the image of God, within a faith-filled community in which all students develop skills as caring and compassionate Christians, critical and creative thinkers, responsible citizens, and lifelong learners.
Students enter St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School as unique children of God with individual talents and backgrounds. In partnership with parents, as the primary educators of their children, the faculty and staff are committed to guiding students in reaching their full potential through a Catholic curriculum emphasizing spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social development while encouraging creativity. Integrating the teaching of Gospel values across the curriculum, we strive to cultivate socially responsible citizens who contribute to their faith, their family, and the global community.
